Scholarship at the College of Europe

Tina Mizerová has been awarded one of three scholarships granted by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports to applicants seeking admission to the College of Europe, and she will therefore spend next year pursuing an LLM in European law in Bruges, Belgium.

Anna Blechová of the Institute of Law and Technology together with Scott Pace and the Global Cybersecurity Forum, organized a specialized workshop on Securing Space at the Cyber Horizon: Resilience, Trust, and Policy Considerations on June 23–24 in Washington, D.C. The workshop on cybersecurity in space activities is part of the preparation of a report for the ITU.

Radim Polčák, Vice Rector of Masaryk University and a member of the Department of Law and Technology at the Faculty of Law, provided commentary to Seznam Zprávy on lawsuits against social media platform owners over their algorithms that cause addiction in children, as well as his views on the issue of handling digital data after a user’s death.
